Found indoors, in my kitchen. Shiny black body with yellowish markings. Around 3/4 inch from toe to toe. It kept pausing to anchor a trail of silk as it walked.
I've never seen a spider like this before. Thought it might be a false black widow at first but I don't think that's it. I thought it had kind of odd proportions, an elongated abdomen and prominent spinnerets.
Apologies for the blurriness, it was up in a hard-to-reach spot.

I have the same guy right here in maple valley! I would like to know what is is. I’ll post a pic on my profile in a minute
Appears to be Sergiolus spp.. There are quite a few in this genus that look very similar. Pretty harmless Ground Spiders.
