Does anybody know what kind of spider this is? It was the size of the palm of my hand..outside of my back patio…went to get husband it was gone when I came back…
I would guess Family Pisauridae, the Nursery Web Spiders. Genus Dolomedes, the Fishing Spiders, contains some big ones – up to three inches leg span.
