abdomen pattern suggests tan jumping spider. Would have to see the eye arrangement to be sure.

Thank you. In in my 50’s and never seen one here before. I’ll try to find it tonight and see if I can get a pic with lights. My dad’s is now 92 and was born in the hills of NC. He always took us out after dark to show us spider eyes shine and then we would go investigate. Guess I’ll be doing some investigating around his house for it tonight? Thank you for the info.
