Any guesses on what species this is? I freaked out when I I tried to get my phone real close and it jumped on me. About half an inch long.
Hi! This is likely Platycryptus undatus, the Tan Jumping Spider. Jumping spiders have excellent vision and a great deal of curiosity, often jumping onto unfamiliar objects to investigate them. 🙂

Must be a female with the white “mustache”. Now that it’s been identified, how do I add the picture to the others? I’m new to this site.
