Thank you! How can one tell it’s a female?
It’s a guess on my part, due to body proportions. The only way to be truly conclusive is lookin’ at the naughty bits with a microscope, but females do tend to have larger abdomen and smaller pedipalps, which are the “mouth finger” thingies.
There are also sex-based color and pattern variations depending on species, but with so many species I don’t know them all lol.
