Comments & ID Thoughts

Hi guys, this spider was found in our bedroom of our house. We have never had a spider this big in the house or any spiders at all. It measured about a inch long, mostly black with light brown and its underbelly had a spotted gold color. Husband thinks it's a wolf spider but I have seen a mostly brown wolf spiders with small black lines

Hi, welcome to Spider ID… this is a Wolf Spider (Lycosidae), possibly Tigrosa georgicola. It’s difficult to be certain given the state it’s in.
