If anybody could please tell me what kind of spider this is it would be appreciated. My initial guess is that it is a Brown Recluse.

Hi. I won’t venture a guess for this, but certainly not a recluse. Those are not known in Mi.
Banding on the legs and the elongated carapace rule out recluse.
I can just barely make out the markings on the abdomen (albeit not very clearly), but I’d peg this as Dolomedes spp..
