Comments & ID Thoughts

There are normally native spiders outside the window that decrease mosquitoes, but this one is completely different from those. I would like to know if it's dangerous and if I should be aware of other spiders like this that may be already in the house.

Appears to be a species of False Black Widows from the family Theridiidae. The genus is Steatoda or False Widow Spiders. The coloring looks more like S triangulosa than S grossa. These are cob web spiders and their venom is not medically significant to humans unless there’s an allergic reaction. They aren’t aggressive and would rather run away.
