Comments & ID Thoughts
Maybe a southern house spider. He was very small, seen on a stair leading up to my apartment in Carmichael, CA.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 Southern House Spider refers to Kukulcania hibernalis specifically, there are several other similar species out west though that this could be. I agree it’s a Kukulcania sp. though.
Hi, just my input here, given I spent a number of years tracking the ranges of Kukulcania, I would say this is very north for K. hibernalis, and not K.arizonica. A fairly recent member seems to be working north, Kukulcania utahana, may just be your spider. To 6 years ago, I found K. hibernalis as far north as Tulare Califria.
