I was thinking more of a Wolf Spider, possibly Tigrosa sp.. This spider looks a lot like a funnel weaver, but its legs seem to be too thick and its spinnerets a bit too short for an Agelenidae.

Well a great way to tell is if the spider has a web. Wolf spiders do not have webs, instead they hunt their prey.
