Comments & ID Thoughts
Found in a package of grapes from Italy (according to the description on the packaging), bought in a supermarket in Hamburg, Germany. I have more photos and a couple of videos, if needed. Can anybody identify this? Is it something special? I know a bit about birds and trees, but nothing about spiders :-(

Nuctenea umbratica, male. This spider is very common in Italy, but it’s established in all European countries, Germany included :).

It’s not dangerous at all and very good at playing dead if disturbed by humans 😀
Thank you, Vonpaulus! 🙂
