I think it's a male orb weaver. He's rather skinny in the abdomen though.

Beautiful orange color and somewhat crab like on the top.

You’re right, this is a male orb weaver. As for the size of the abdomen, male orb weavers have it smaller than females, as is the case with many other families of spiders.
The pattern of the abdomen reminds of both Araneus diadematus and Neoscona sp. , but I think that the two white dots on the bottom point rather to the former.
