Hi, we can’t give you a species from the photo because the markings aren’t visible. I CAN tell you that she is most likely to be Neoscona crucifera, a Hentz Orbweaver, from her shape and hairiness. I like the photo artistically. She’s not dangerous to people or pets, her goal is to just eat lots of big insects and stay alive. In Autumn she’ll oviposit her eggs into an egg sac. It will look like a tuft of cotton candy and she’ll guard her offspring until she dies.
