In Minnesota...what kind of spider is this?
Dolomedes sp., a Fishing Spider.

Aww, thanks! Tahaha! Yes, I can see you and all your spiders rejoicing. 😀 I don’t know how much time I will be able to devote to this, but I’m sure glad to be back. I’ve missed y’all. It looks like BugGuide.net has clarified their identification guide for Dolomedes, and I just may have been misidentifying D. tenebrosus specimens as D. scriptus for a long time. The new blurb clarifies that the “w” marking found in D. scriptus needs to have white all the way across, and that D. tenebrosus possesses a similar marking (as seen in this ^ photograph)… Read more »
