Picture of unidentified spider

Comments & ID Thoughts

Always comes out at night with a web. Has a identical looking frien nearby that comes out at same time. It is about 55F outside. I thought it was a black widow on initial impression, probably due to the intensity of black color. It is small. Body approx~.5in. I know nothing about spiders. Flagstaff, Az elevation is ~7000. An arid climate, rather cold, ponderosa pine filled. ANY INFO WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. I have a strong interest. I kind of consider these guys/girls spider as little buddies . Also it is webbed up on my house ground level. Web is not thick but sparse and rather random patterned.

Hi! I’m quite sure this a Theridiidae, very likely Steatoda sp.
