Comments & ID Thoughts
I posted a couple other similar looking spiders, I found this one about a month earlier in a small web on a wooden fence among some white oaks. This one was considerably smaller but shares similar color patterns and leg characteristics, although the abdomen is shaped differently. I also thought yellow garden spider for this one, but this might be a situation of a hammer thinking everything is a nail, if that makes sense. Any ideas? (The photo is a bit blurry — sorry — but it was the best I could get.)
