Perhaps a brown widow? The large pedipalps and slender abdomen lead me to believe this is incorrect.

Male Lactrodectus variolous (Northern Black Widow). The difference between mactans (southern) and variolous is the “broken” hourglass on the variolous. The picture below is of a female geometricus (brown) but you should get the idea of the difference of hourglass from brown to black widows. https://bugguide.net/node/view/312930
