Might be a male Red House Spider, Nesticodes rufipes. Hard to be certain from this image.

Just like with people the size of the abdomen may vary. A spider that normally has a big abdomen but hasn’t had much to eat or drink in a while may have a small shriveled abdomen. Also male spiders (and yours is male) will typically have smaller abdomens than females. Did you compare it to the male N. rufipes in the link above? The size of the palps, coloration, and length of the legs match well to your spider.
