Dear God will it hatch and eat me alive? I just noticed this today. It is on the crack between the wall and ceiling way out of reach. How much time do I have? My boyfriend drives truck and is gone for a while. Can I wait until he gets back before they hatch or am I doomed?

Already hatched, I don’t think that’s an egg sac. It looks like a retreat, there’s a spider resting in it. Long-legged Sac Spider (Cheiracanthium mildei) is a likely suspect.
