Comments & ID Thoughts
My initial guesses are a male brown recluse, or a hobo spider. It descended onto my head and brought it inside without knowing.

The large palps make me think it’s a trapdoor spider, but those should have a glossier appearance. It also seems a little small for a trapdoor spider, though it may still be a young one. If anyone has a better idea, you should probably listen to them.
I just found out it is a male Steatoda hespera. Also can be known as the false widow spider.
