Comments & ID Thoughts
This spider has pink markings on its belly, the pattern on the belly is yellow and black, but not stripes like the topside, the legs have yellow and black areas, the head is smaller than the body and has “horns”... We are two kids and we wonder what it is? We thought it was a writing spider because of its size, but it didn’t have any zigzags in the web. The pinkish-red on the belly is sort of hourglass shaped, too.

The angle and ventral aspect make it difficult to tell. If you can get a photo of it’s back that would help.
It looks to be from the genus (tetra)Nephillinae. Golden Silk Orb Weavers. I can tell you however that this spider has venom which is not medically significant to humans.

@FormerArachnophobe Thanks so much! We meant to share two photos, but accidentally shared one twice. Hopefully the one you need is showing up now. 🙂
I’ll look for it!
