Comments & ID Thoughts
I am trying to identify this beautiful spider in my back yard. closest species it resembles is a Joro. However the legs are solid in color, appears to be dark blue in person. In this photo there is also a very small brown spider with her. Possibly the male mate???

@ItsyBitsy For our photo gallery someday. A male and female Trichonephila clavata in one photo! https://bugguide.net/node/view/1725604 I found photos of Joro Spiders on Bugguide.net that have all-black legs. We have some on this site too (click on “Georgia”) that haven’t been filed. This might be our first photo of both genders.
