Jumping spiders are my favorite. Found this little guy running around in my friends van.

I’m guessing a female Phidippus audax. A very cute Jumping spider, anyway. It kinda remind me of my old teddy beat with two buttons for eyes 😀
Awww. 🙂 Yes, this cute critter is a Bold Jumper, Phidippus audax. They’re adorable AND they like to pose for great photos too! They’re very helpful online for helping people who think that all spiders are ugly start to see spiders as attractive and fun animals.
Another cool thing that shows in this photo is how Jumping Spiders with iridescent chelacerae usually have iridescent legs too. The visual effect comes from the hairs having a flattened shape, like shiny metallic-looking plastic cellophane.
