Comments & ID Thoughts
This spider has been on a sheet-like web in my third floor window in North Carolina for a while. There is what looks like a similar spider but white that is dead next to it (or is this molting?). I thought it might look like a grass spider but the stripes on the legs seem to be more pronounced than the other spiders I've seen. Is it dangerous?

I think you’re right to guess a Grass Spider. There are many different species in this genus (Agelenopsis) and it’s very difficult sometimes to tell them apart from a picture, but they’re all harmless to humans.
