Steatoda sp. This is a Cobweaver spider in family Theridiidae, genus Steatoda. It resembles Steatoda triangulosa, but I don’t recognize all American Steatoda species yet. I’m not sure whose egg sacs those are. Steatoda species spiders eat many kinds of insects and other spiders. They may raid other arthropods nests and webs. They aren’t dangerous to people.
