Comments & ID Thoughts

I'm having trouble distinguishing what type of spider this is. My two closest thoughts are a black wolf spider or black house spider, but I am unsure.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This is a Wolf Spider (Lycosidae), looks like one in the genus Tigrosa but is unusually dark, I’m not sure which.
