Comments & ID Thoughts
Another tiny one! This Salticidae was on my car in my garage. Smaller than a grain of rice! I did not get my special lens fast enough before *POOF* it was gone! So you’ll have to zoom in.
My guess is a Regal or Bold... anyone?

What a cutie!! You know these are my faves and I haven’t seen this one before. I have seen a few teeny tiny ones lately and I can just sit and watch them for hours. I was taking a picture of one and notice another spiderling in the shot and just as I said oh wow you have a little friend, as quick a blink he was on top of the other guy taking him away for lunch…..not to have lunch with but to have as lunch …!! Little stinkers they are!
Jumping spiders are, simply put, freaking hilarious!
Juveniles can have different colors and patterns so anyone’s guess is as good as mine. However, I have seen many many Phidippus audax here in Oklahoma, so I am leaning towards that ID.
