Unidentified

This is a Grass Spider, probably female. They look fierce and they are very speedy and agile when they grab prey. They’re generally afraid of people and avoid bright light and moving shadows. When one actually holds still for a photo, they look quite dramatic. I like to photograph them in rain storms and such this time of year because it is too cold to find many other outdoor spiders to annoy with my camera.
