Sorry, your Cellar Spider (that’s really the common name) is dead or dying from a parasitic fungus. The Fungus uses some live spiders that live in cool dark environments as a host to replicate in and as a “zombie” vehicle for transmission. Zombie hosts have had a parasite take advantage of their nervous system and are moved like puppets. The various host species of animals are manipulated by various parasites to act against the animals’ innate drive for survival.
