I have seen two of these spiders in my house now and do not like the look of them. I would like to know if they are poisonous because I have 3 kids, one who is 8 months old and also because I have been bitten by a spider before.

Appears to be a Woodlouse Hunter (Dysdera crocata). They are great pest control and their venom is not considered medically significant.

I agree, Had them in my place in Caldwell.Unless your children go playing with these, they are not likely to bite and no worse than a bee sting if they do.
