Sorry, we can’t identify skin wounds. Please seek immediate medical help from a professional. It may be a dangerous bacterial infection that might spread to other parts of your body or other people. Some infections can be fatal or disabling. A bite or injury is not needed for a person to be infected. You don’t have spiders with medically significant venom where you live. Please don’t wait, I’ve known two people with permanent disabilities from MRSA infections.
Looks like a brown recluse bite you should see a doctor
Hi thank you. When I tried to identify the bite I thought it looked most like a brown recluse bite. That afternoon, when I was bitten, I was tidying leaves etc around raspberry bushes. I’m guessing that’s a good spot for a brown recluse. My doctor wasn’t sure about the bites but gave me penecillin. The bites did carry on getting worse but seemed to have started improving from a few days ago.
