This comic features the Wolf Spider (Family Lycosidae) from the first Clarice comic. https://spiderid.com/picture/126290/

Wolf Spiders are solitary wanderers, living their lives in the open. They do not spin webs to trap prey, instead using their enormous eyes to succeed as active hunters.

Important Disclaimer: Female Wolf Spiders carry their egg sacs attached to their spinerrets, not on tiny sticks as I have portrayed. After hatching, the spiderlings ride on the female's back until they are old enough to fend for themselves.

I think that sometimes the female wolf spiders would prefer to carry their egg sacs on hobo sticks instead of their posteriors. ๐Ÿ™‚

“Excuse me, Ma’am! Would you as a female Wolf Spider, prefer to drag your offspring around attached to your butt or use one of your many limbs along with Advanced Stick Technology…..? Fun fact: They release the egg sac and move away before excretory functions. Thanks Mama Spider!
