Was thinking mouse spider?
Near Franklin, TN/Nashville TN
12pm CENTRAL, raked leaves, and came across 3 of them.
I prodded with a long stick and they would attack with force

“I prodded with a long stick and they would attack with force” then the spiders didn’t attack you, you attacked them. They were only defending themselves from a potential predator. There are no spiders on Earth that are actually aggressive towards humans. It is a wafer-lid trapdoor spider in the Myrmekiaphila genus. They are harmless.
