Can someone tell me what spider this is? It’s the largest I’ve ever seen on my property.

She’s a Black and Yellow Garden Spider, Argiope aurantia. She’s a spider that makes orb (circle) webs like the spiderweb emoji. The females are scientifically considered giants compared to the males. She isn’t medically dangerous to people or pets, you could gently hold her in your hand. She wouldn’t enjoy it, she just wants to avoid large dangerous animals like us. Like most spiders, Orb Weaver only bite in self-defense. Pressing your skin too hard against her or causing her to feel trapped might trigger a bite.
