Hello – I believe this is a trapdoor spider.
In looking at the Trapdoor now that you say so if it is not one it sure is doing a good imitation! Wow! How neat. Thanks so much!
In looking at your past submissions, I came across what could be the father of submission https://spiderid.com/picture/135187/ This is definitely a male Ummidia Trapdoor spider. My understanding is that these guys come out mostly twice a year to breed. The Spring and Fall.
