Thank you for the ventral image of Araneus diadematus in addition to the dorsal. We have an option in our photo gallery to view spiders from different angles. It’s less common to get a photo from both that gives us the ability to ID the spider from the dorsal with the ventral to match. We also need dorsal photos of female spiders with their egg sacks and hatchlings. Bugguide.net has a wish list of Orbweaver ventral photos they need. Thanks again!
