Comments & ID Thoughts
I had been removing moss off of a tree and found the spider nestled within the moss. The legs look similar to Steatoda triangulosa, but I don't feel believe it is the same species. The approximate size was slightly larger than an American quarter, and I could not locate any form of web near this specimen. This was also taken at St. Edwards State Park in Washington state.
