Comments & ID Thoughts
This is a Pholcus sp. spider that just very swiftly killed its prey. The prey is a male European Earwig, Forticula auricularia. I was wondering what would happen as they approached each other. The Cellar Spider moved remarkably quick to bite the earwig's head. The earwig was paralyzed instantly.
