Could you tell me what this spider is, and if that's an egg sack on its back, please?

That is a Lycosidae or Wolf Spider. Lycosidae do carry their egg sacs attached to their spinerettes until the slings hatch and then these babies climb onto Mom’s back. When this happens the sac is saved one to make sure all babies are out and 2 for babies to eat out of for the first few days. This picture shows no babies on her back so something must have gone horribly wrong or the way the picture is I am just not able to see the egg sac very well but it sure does not look full or in correct… Read more »
The more I look at this I’m starting to think possibly this might be a parasite
Sorry about multiple comments but I’m sure that’s not a Lycosidae egg sac. It appears to be pupae of some kind.
