Comments & ID Thoughts
Shot in Johannesburg, South Africa. The spider was in my wife's wetsuit, is approximately 3-4cm legspan, maybe 1cm body.
I was initially hoping it was a spitting spider, but the markings don't match. The abdomen don't match a recluse, so I am at a loss.

I’m unable to confirm the name of this spider but it is most likely in the genus Theridion. A genus of harmless cob web spiders that are, from my understanding, commonly called false button spiders in South Africa.
