I think its the Barn funnel weaver but, the pattern on the abdomen is whats throwing me off. I took it on my phone so its not the best quality but, the design on the abdomen is similar to the barn funnel weaver but its not in a honeycomb wish design, it looks like one line down the abdomen with lines branching out to the side. The line Is brown and the body is like tan. the legs are tan with brown dashes down to the very bottom.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 I’m not sure what this is, I don’t think it’s Tegenaria domestica though. There are lots of other similar looking options, you may have the right family at least. I found this one googling “Agelenidae+Japan”. Does yours have similar spinnerets or are they hidden?
