Here is a photo of a nest of yellow garden spiders Argiope aurantia. If you zoom in you can see the black stripe on their abdomen.

Are these eggs or hatched spiders? I read the eggs are laid in the fall. These arrived this morning on the deck after a huge storm last night. They are brand new!
Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 These looks like Araneus spiderlings. It can be impossible to be sure of species with spiderlings but Araneus diadematus spiderlings look just like this for comparison:
