I originally thought it was a wolf spider, but the stripe looked too bright. He runs away from any light, and was missing a leg when I caught him. He's still pretty fast even missing a leg.

A lot of submitted photos aren’t in the gallery, but all of the most common for each state are there. And yes, the Parson Spiders are impressively fast and agile. I watched one race across my kitchen table, across the underside, doing fast loops. Thankfully that pale pink stripe marking is distinctive. My jumping spider was missing one and i heard that if they lose there pedipalps they die or so
