Is this a wolf spider? She’s enormous - I was able to see her coming halfway down the driveway, but had no idea what she was until she got to the porch step.

Looks like a fishing spider to me. They get pretty big and this one appears to have babies on her back.
Wolf Spider plus babies. I don’t know if Fishing Spiders do this. Fishing Spiders have pointy posteriors and their legs are less arched, more splayed.

Good to know! The wolf spiders I’ve seen didn’t have that much patterning on their legs, so I assumed fishing spider. Thanks for correcting me.
