Comments & ID Thoughts
This is a Pholcus phalangiodes in my cellar with prey. I suspect the prey is a Black-lace Weaver Spider since they are the only bugs with hairy legs in the cellar and their habitat overlaps. Any other ideas on the prey?

Unfortunately, I never took photos of my encounters with this but this definitely is the right size and looks to be a Black Lace Weaver. I have seen P. tepidariorum and P. phalangioides consume the Black Lace Weavers around my home. Its quite fascinating seeing such small predators take out larger prey items.
