Found this spider already dead and laying in grass. Would appreciate help in knowing what type and if I should be worried for more.

I would guess it’s a female Antrodiaetus pacificus. The females rarely leave their burrows, and males will to mate. I’ve heard they rarely bite and don’t have a very potent venom, although I haven’t interacted with one so I don’t know how true that is.
