Nope, no spider is too obvious for us to take a crack at identifying. The harder spiders usually stay unidentified for longer, as fewer people are prepared to take on the task of distinguishing between multiple very similar species. Some user submissions are never addressed, even years after being submitted. I’ve tried to go over some of the backlog, but it is a truly monumental task. This is because the demand for spider identifications is greater than the supply of spider identifiers, and this is an unpaid hobby for us.
