I will leave them to be in their habitat as long as possible but if somebody has a better situation for them I would like to make sure they go to someone that appreciates them if possible
Seems like a marbled cellular spider crossbred with a daddy long leg
i have one like this living in my bathroom under the mirrored cabinet storage..7 legged..moves around but mostly stays put for some time..Like sleeping most of the time or idk..I usually hate any insect but it has been there and i kill them almost right away.. this one looks harmless to me..idk, i’m not going to poke it or something..
Actually, if you poke it, it might do a wild spinning thing they do to scare predators. They’re quite harmless. My house has a lot of Cellar Spiders. Most flying insects that get into my house end up in their webs. They are quite sedentary, as you noticed. Some times they sleep like a broken umbrella hanging on a rope. They have zero interest in physically interacting with humans. Just like me.
i have no desire to poke it..only when it comes to a position that is very close to my stuff.. but i make it so i don’t scare it away.. but just saying “move a bit, buddy”..
Here’s a link. .I gave it a food finally LoL..Idk how long they can stay full though..I don’t leave any insect live long in my apt.. https://youtu.be/KdEBpsGwagM
