Located in northern california. Approximately 1600ft elevation. Spider is on a 2x4 for size reference. No clue what kind of spider it is but wondering if they will be harmful to my garden. They put an insane amount of webs on my greenhouse structure.

Based on the distinctive shape of the head, I’d say a Lynx Spider (Family Oxyopidae). Lynx Spiders are active hunters, chasing their insect prey rather than waiting for it.
They will not be harmful to your garden, and are in fact quite beneficial! Spiders eat lots of insects, including insects that are harmful to plants and humans. Aphids, caterpillars, mosquitoes – spiders will gladly eat these and others garden pests.
