I’m thinking it might be a Tiger Wolf Spider? but I really don’t know. He’s tan with striped legs. Quite large. Living in the basement in a greenhouse. Start of a web nearby.

Looks like a Dark Fishing Spider, Dolomedes tenebrosus. Is the greenhouse using purple lighting? I saw some plants like this under purple lights at at a commercial greenhouse and I forgot to ask the employees what the purpose is. Wolf Spiders don’t have much agility for climbing, but Fishing Spiders are the opposite. This one looks very comfortable. They are ambush hunters, not web hunters, but the females make a special web for offspring. It’s called a nursery web.
